Internal Custom Solutions Developer

Responsibilities

Knowledge of software development using object-oriented or procedural programming languages in an enterprise environment
Ability to effectively collaborate with varied, cross-functional teams to implement and support business solutions

Ability to create effective application documentation
Experience with low code digital forms development
Experience developing secure code
Knowledge of and experience with cloud applications and architecture
Experience as a technical lead in a software systems administration in a development environment
Experience deploying software solutions in Windows and Linux environments
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College
Ability to work with all groups from a variety of academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and with community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities

Required

Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
All employees are expected to maintain a permanent residence within the State of Utah as a condition of employment. New employees must provide a valid Utah residential address within 30 days of their start date
Knowledge of software development using object-oriented or procedural programming languages in an enterprise environment
Ability to effectively collaborate with varied, cross-functional teams to implement and support business solutions

Experience with low code digital forms development
Experience developing secure code

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or technical school in a related field
Four (4) years of full time paid direct experience leading programmer/analyst required
Trade off 2:1 in experience/education requirement

Preferred

Experience developing, augmenting and maintaining systems in Higher Education using Ellucian solutions including Banner, Ethos, and Experience
Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using the Microsoft .NET Framework
Proficiency in building responsive, user-friendly web applications with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
