Responsibilities

Define and work on new architectural features for scaling the quantum kernel using parallel and concurrent Rust code
Analyze Python and Rust code for performance bottlenecks and optimize code for performance
Work with researchers and software engineers to enable new features in quantum circuit compilation
Contribute production grade code, execute code reviews, drive and influence detailed technical designs

Required

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages
3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture
3 years of experience working with embedded operating systems
Experience in a systems program language, Rust or C/C++

Preferred

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
5 years of experience with data structures/algorithms
1 year of experience in a technical leadership role
Proficiency in Python
Knowledge of quantum computing or quantum control
