Facilities Manager
Saicon is seeking an experienced Facility Manager to lead 24x7 mission-critical data center operations. This hands-on leadership role requires deep technical expertise and strong operational judgment to ensure continuous uptime and optimize operational efficiency while mentoring a skilled team.
Responsibilities
Supervise all mechanical, electrical, and energy management systems in a mission-critical environment; maintain uptime through strict adherence to change management processes
Directly manage Leads, CFTs, and CFMTs; handle hiring, scheduling, performance management, and staff development. Mentor operations staff and lead by example to build credibility and trust
Oversee preventive, corrective, and contracted maintenance programs; evaluate building systems for safety, efficiency, and reliability; lead incident response, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
Enforce OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and local regulatory requirements; maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders; ensure compliance with all codes and governing authorities
Assist in OPEX and CAPEX budget development and management; support capital projects, audits, sustainability initiatives, and customer fit-outs; manage inventory, purchasing, and invoice tracking
Act as first responder during site emergencies and make decisive operational decisions in high-pressure environments
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience managing critical facilities or data center operations
Strong hands-on knowledge of MEP systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs, ATS, HVAC, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units
Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD, Visio, and technical documentation
Demonstrated project management and cost-tracking experience
Experience with CMMS, BMS, DCIM, and work order management systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate independently and make decisions with limited information
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Occasional travel may be required
