They are looking to add a Senior Mechanical Test Development Engineer to design and develop test mechanisms for printed circuit board assemblies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product compliance.

Responsibilities
Design and develop test mechanisms for printed circuit board assemblies and High Level Assemblies
Develop full turnkey Automated Test Equipment mechanical solutions using manual, semi-automated and automated mechanical techniques are required by the customer
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure product compliance with specifications and standards
Create a complete CAD package for testers including Assembly Drawings as required
Interface with vendors and machine shops to fabricate mechanical components
Create mechanical Bills of Material for designed equipment
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing technologies and manufacturing techniques
Work with CNC router to produce mechanical components
Research techniques for robust mechanical / electrical interfaces to a variety of connection types
Interface with customers to resolve issues related to product
Occasionally design / layout custom fixture interface boards
Work with electrical engineers on overall test strategy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred
Must have experience designing electromechanical fixtures and mechanical mechanisms
Must have PCBA or high level assembly fixturing experience
Must have 8+ years of experience in mechanical testing, product development, or a related field
Previous experience with Solid Works creating both 2D and 3D designs
Familiarity with automated test equipment methods and techniques
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical testing (automotive, medical, aerospace)
CNC setup and operation knowledge
Preferred
Experience with Auto CAD software (or similar) and simulation tools is a plus
Experience with PCBA layout software is a plus
