Human Landing System - Discipline Integrator

Responsibilities
Establish and maintain general knowledge of HMTA Standards and commercial vendor implementation of applicable HMTA Standards
Identify, communicate, and help coordinate discussion of issues related to HHP that impact HLS
Participate in designated meetings. This includes proactive screening of agendas, engaging appropriate HHP representatives and/or SMEs as needed, taking notes during meetings, and communicating relevant information to the HMTA/HHP team
Coordinate with HMTA, HHP Management, HHP technical SMEs, HLS Program personnel, and commercial vendors
Coordinate and participate in Program document and design reviews, which includes identifying ways to streamline processes and issues that may impact completion of tasks
Participate in HMTA meetings, NASA Human Spaceflight Program meetings, HHP meetings, and internal team meetings; develop and deliver presentations as necessary
Qualification
Required
A bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field and at least 3 years' relevant experience
Ability to work in Microsoft Office's suite of tools, especially Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Demonstrated ability to work independently
Strong verbal and written communication skills including delivering presentations and writing reports
Ability to effectively interact with customers at all levels
Preferred
A knowledge of NASA's Human System Standards (e.g., NASA-STD-3001) and the disciplines within Human Health and Performance is highly desired
Demonstrated experience with human systems requirements and verification in human spaceflight vehicle design and/or with NASA Technical Authority is desired
Experience in NASA spaceflight operations is desired
Knowledge of NASA's HLS Program is desired
Demonstrated ability to write, decompose, and tailor human systems design and verification statements is desired
Demonstrated experience with human factors activities such as human-in-the-loop tests and task analyses is desired
