Responsibilities

Assist the Physician in performing a variety of specialized procedures (Cardiology, Interventional Radiology/Vascular, and Neurovascular) in the role(s) of radiology technologist, scrub, and/or hemodynamic monitoring

Demonstrate proficiency in the use of a variety of minor and computer related equipment

Additional expectations include room setup, patient positioning, and patient screening

Required

High school diploma or equivalent

Sufficient training and knowledge in CIRV or direct patient care experience in a healthcare related field, to be able to take call for the department upon completion of orientation

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association within three months of hire

Employee may not at any time have been or be excluded from participation in any federally funded program, including Medicare and Medicaid

Preferred

Associate degree in related field

Experience as a Technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, or Interventional Radiology environment

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification provided by the American Heart Association

Registered Invasive Cardiovascular Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) certification
