Responsibilities
Provides senior level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of UI components into Adobe Experience Manager. Verifies all deliverables meet Methodology and Information Security requirements
Provides technical support for incident management, analyzes and implement solutions to improve resiliency and stability of systems
Translates technical specifications, and/or design models into code for new or enhancement projects (for internal or external clients)
Develops code that reuses objects, is well structured, includes sufficient comments, and is easy to maintain
Writes programs and reports
Elevates code into the development, test, and Production environments on schedule
Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues and ensure methodology compliance
Participates in systems analysis activities, including system requirements analysis and definition, e.g. prototyping. Participates in other meetings, such as those for use case creation and analysis
Writes the system/technical portion of assigned deliverables. Assists technical team members with the system/technical portion of their deliverables, e.g., systems testers with test plans. On small teams, the developer may write these items
Performs unit testing and writes appropriate unit test plans to ensure requirements are satisfied
Assists in integration, systems, acceptance, and other related testing as needed
Develops understanding of client business functions and technology needs. Develops understanding tools, technologies, and applications/databases, including those that interface with the business areas and other systems
Interfaces with cross functional teams, including associated Data, UI & Mid-Tier teams
Complies with IT policies and procedures, especially those for quality and productivity standards that enable the team to meet established milestones
Complies with Retail Systems policies and procedures including attendance and weekly time and status reporting
Understands and adheres to our diversity mission and policies
Experience with test driven development
Experience with automation testing
Experience working in an agile project team

At least 5 years of recent UI web development (HTML5, CSS3, JS, Angular, Node)
Development of components/templates
Ability to drive & deliver websites
Specific experience with Single Page Applications using modern UI frameworks like Angular/React
Specific experience migrating or importing existing component libraries into AEM or refactoring existing libraries to extend AEM OOTB components
At least 5 years of recent Core Java/Spring framework experience
Intermediate developer with ability to design, build, and deliver complex applications with light guidance
At least 3 years+ of recent, hands-on AEM 6.x development & leadership experience
HTL template language
(SPA) Single Page Application experience (or ability to quickly learn)
Assets - Digital Asset Management Experience
Workflow - Content Workflow Development experience
Performance Tuning & Troubleshooting - including integration with various tools (AppD, Splunk, etc.)
Core Components & Customization - Knowledge and experience with extending Core components
Testing & troubleshooting
Familiarity with AEM installation/configuration (local)
Front-end/back-end development experience required
Apache configuration knowledge
Experience or Knowledge with operational intelligence technologies such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Open Telemetry
Experience developing and integrating with microservices, webapps, REST API's
Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, Jira, BitBucket, Subversion, Maven, etc. and implementing custom plugins
Undergraduate degree preferably in Computer Science or a similar technical degree
5+ years of experience in technology related roles
5-8+ years developer or systems analyst experience
Preferred
Knowledge & experience with other products in Adobe suite (Adobe Target, Adobe Launch, AAM)
Personalization and analytics
AEM Certification not required, but a plus!
AEM Admin experience a plus or 'nice to have'
Basic understanding of AWS services including ECS
Understanding of core cloud concepts (specifically AWS)
Any hands-on development experience would be a plus, but a base level of understanding would likely be enough
Virtualization, networking, etc
Any pipeline knowledge would also be ideal, but could be learned
Familiarity with CDN implementation (CloudFront, Akamai, etc.) and caching
