Responsibilities
Provides leadership in managing IT projects
Responsible for managing moderately complex projects and/or managing assigned portions of larger, higher complexity projects
Analysis, planning, execution, and finalization of projects according to timelines and within budget
Define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle
Ensure deliverables align with the agency's mission to protect children and strengthen families
Maintain alignment between IT and agency stakeholders
Assist in development and implementation of data quality policies and procedures
Partner with CQI team and clinical leadership to establish data quality plans and goals in alignment with CCWIS data quality requirements
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 7-10 years of relevant IT experience
Incumbent will possess specialized knowledge in an IT discipline
Strong leadership skills
Project management expertise
Deep understanding of the IT systems and clinical processes supporting child welfare programs
Knowledge of federal data systems that support child welfare programs (such as the National Child Abuse and Neglect Data System (NCANDS) and the Adoption and Foster Care Analysis and Reporting System (AFCARS))
Understanding of agency business processes, child welfare practice, the youth court system/judicial processes, permanency objectives, child welfare data, federal regulations and requirements (particularly CCWIS)
Deep understanding of continuous quality improvement (CQI) processes in child welfare programs, including knowledge of the Child and Family Services Review
Ability to handle an often-unpredictable work environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to the environment, and to be a team player
