The role involves evaluating and developing supplier manufacturing processes and ensuring the delivery of high-quality components to Stellantis Assembly Plants.

Responsibilities
Assess and develop supplier manufacturing processes for quality, capacity, and capability
Drive resolution of supplier-related quality issues from pre-production through post-launch
Serve as the technical authority for manufacturing processes
Conduct supplier readiness reviews and launch support
Collaborate cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement initiatives and quality alignment
Lead problem solving activities for supplier manufacturing related issues
Requires close collaboration with internal and external Engineering, Manufacturing, to ensure appropriate suppliers and manufacturing processes are validated and refined from early development through launch and into production
Leads root cause analysis and structured problem-solving efforts, drives process improvements, and ensures deployment of best practices and lessons learned across programs
Serves as the technical expert for the manufacturing processes and technologies associated with system components
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited university (or other Engineering degrees, in combination with relevant experience)
Effective presentation/public speaking skills
Experience with problem solving tools
Able to demonstrate both coaching and teaching
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Self-motivated leader, directed, high-energy, hands-on individual with integrity
Ability to thrive in a high intensity environment while working on multiple projects
Preferred
Advanced degree in a technical field
Previous experience working in an automotive manufacturing unionized environment
Strong problem solving and analytical skills, Six Sigma methodology
Leadership experience (supervisory/management/team leader/project management)
