Responsibilities
Serve as a Scrum Master for 1–2 cross-functional Agile teams, including SAP functional, technical, and business stakeholders
Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies: Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives
Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement within the teams
Support delivery in a hybrid Agile/Waterfall environment with traditional PMO governance
Navigate stage gates, deliverables, risk and issue tracking (RAID), and fixed milestones
Coordinate with waterfall-driven workstreams such as data migration, testing, and cutover
Partner closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, SAP consultants, and system integrators to maintain a well-groomed and prioritized backlog
Facilitate backlog refinement, estimation, and story sizing sessions
Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and blockers across SAP and legacy systems
Participate in scaled Agile ceremonies such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and system demos
Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers, and Solution Architects to align delivery
Track and report Agile metrics including velocity, burndown, and team health
Manage backlogs and delivery using Jira and related Agile tools
Support SAP delivery using SAP Activate methodology
Work closely with SAP functional teams (FI/CO, MM, PM, SD) and technical teams (Basis, ABAP, integrations)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Lead in enterprise environments
Hands-on experience supporting SAP ERP programs, with strong preference for SAP S/4HANA
Experience working in hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery models
Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and traditional SAP project lifecycles
Experience supporting large, cross-functional, and multi-team initiatives
Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency with Jira; experience with Confluence, MS Project, or similar tools is a plus
Preferred
Experience in Utilities, Energy, or other highly regulated industries
Exposure to scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe or similar)
