Corporate Recruiter – Contract

Responsibilities

Select top talent to join the organization by forging strong relationships with assigned business unit leaders across the organization and understand how the department works in order to define what 'best' looks like for any given role
Collaborate with the Talent team and business partners in multiple projects that support our strategic goals and overall vision
As a culture champion for the credit union, be the first impression for our candidates
Understand the value and impact of a superior candidate experience and contribute towards innovative processes to streamline and enhance those experiences
Help build and maintain strong talent pipeline to meet the needs of our business
Completes any other job related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values
Develops and maintains strong partnerships with assigned client group and senior management to proactively recruit and retain talented workforce into the CU
Assists with various research projects and/or special projects
Assists candidates and hiring managers during the interview process
Assists with documentation related to recruiting and conducting New Hire In-Processing
Works with other Human Resources team members to ensure a smooth on-boarding process
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
Work with various teams in the Human Resources department to deliver professional advice

Required

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent education and/or experience
Minimum four (4) years recruiting and sourcing experience for non-exempt and exempt level positions
Experience working with an ATS
Strong knowledge of State and Federal laws including, EEO and FLSA
Proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly MS Word and Excel
Problem solving skills, attention to detail, able to multi-task
Excellent communication and verbal skills
Able to manage several projects simultaneously
Able to work independently with minimal supervisor and to meet deadlines

Preferred

Large corporate recruiting experience
Financial institution and / or credit union recruiting experience
SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP or similar certification or working towards certification
Knowledge of HR systems and software such as ADP
Ability to conduct presentations
Experience using various recruitment platforms such as Indeed and LinkedIn
Familiar with crowd-sourced sites such as Glassdoor and Indeed
An innovative and forward thinking, proactive mindset to help meet the talent needs of today and the future
Thorough knowledge and understanding of federal, state and NCUA regulations
