They are seeking a Category Management Intern to join their Merchandising Team for a 10-week summer internship program, where the intern will assist in tracking purchase orders, scheduling audits, and analyzing competition to enhance product offerings.

Responsibilities
Track and monitor PO’s to ensure suppliers are hitting agreed upon delivery deadlines
Schedule factory audits with third-party auditor and monitor results with lead
Order development samples and monitor feedback
Gather SKU data information from suppliers and pass to team members to update PDP’s
Attend and participate in team meetings with cross-functional teams and send recaps of action items
Analyze our competition’s assortment to determine if there are any gaps in our product offering
Build relationships with suppliers and work with them directly on daily requests
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Business, Merchandising, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting
Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly execute assigned tasks
Excellent organization and time management skills
Experience with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
