Responsibilities
Manage and improve the plant’s Predictive Maintenance & Reliability programs
Use a variety of testing technologies such as vibration analysis, infrared, measurements of sound levels, oil analysis, corona detection & others to identify potential maintenance problems
Create, implement, and manage strategic plans that will maximize equipment use
Use Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), PPM optimization, and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) processes as well as vibration, infrared, oil and ultrasonic analysis to identify problems
Work with the maintenance & engineering staff to identify solutions
Develop a plan for equipment repair and set standards and create needed schedules for repairs
Coach & mentor other engineers & maintenance staff
Provide technical expertise & engineering support
Prepare technical reports to communicate schedules, capital projects progress, risk analysis & return on investment
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Electrical Engineering
At least 3 years' experience in a Reliability role in a manufacturing facility
Working knowledge of Six Sigma
Working knowledge of Lean
Working knowledge of Preventative Maintenance programs
Preferred
Experience with Predictive Maintenance & Reliability programs
Experience using testing technologies such as vibration analysis, infrared, measurements of sound levels, oil analysis, corona detection
Experience with Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
Experience with PPM optimization
Experience with Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
Experience with vibration, infrared, oil and ultrasonic analysis
Experience in coaching and mentoring engineers & maintenance staff
Strong communication skills
Meticulous and organized in preparing technical reports
Computer savvy with experience in SAP
