Responsibilities
Provision of neuropsychological assessment and consultation services
Diagnosis and treatment of neurobehavioral changes that result from acquired brain injuries
Serve as co-investigator or principal investigator on existing projects with a particular emphasis on traumatic brain injury including concussion
Seek new external funding, either federal or philanthropic, for relevant research activity
Research dissemination, including manuscript publications and presentations at scientific conferences, would be an expected deliverable
Training and supervision of post-doctoral fellows
Qualification
Required
PhD or PsyD from an APA/CPA approved program in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology or Health Psychology
Completion of an APA accredited internship
Completion of a postdoctoral fellowship
Eligibility for board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology or Rehabilitation Psychology
Licensed or license eligible in the state of Texas
Specialty training in clinical neuropsychology or rehabilitation psychology as well as experience working as part of cross-disciplinary healthcare teams in a medical setting
Ability to manage publications in high-impact and peer-reviewed journals
Ability to manage presentations of research study findings at local, national and international conferences
Experience with securing external grants
Knowledge of research methodology, study execution and regulatory requirements for work performed
Preferred
Experience with adolescents is desirable but not required
