Responsibilities
Lead network infrastructure improvements, including planning, installation, and validation
Install and terminate structured network cabling and patch panels
Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and optimize Fortinet firewalls, switches, and access points (WAPs)
Configure network connectivity and security settings per standards
Support server room improvements (rack/cable organization, labeling, airflow, grounding)
Ensure proper documentation, asset tagging, and hardware inventory
Guide and support the Junior Network Technician
Solve complex network issues and provide escalation support
Collaborate with client IT team and document configuration changes for handover
Qualification
Required
5+ years of practical experience as a network technician or similar role
Strong experience with structured cabling, LAN/WAN fundamentals, and network hardware
Proven skills with Fortinet firewalls, switches, and wireless APs
Solid troubleshooting and documentation skills
Comfortable working on-site and in server room environments
Preferred
Fortinet NSE or equivalent networking certifications
Experience leading short-term project deployments
