Network Administrator II
Wounded Warrior Project is dedicated to honoring and empowering veterans, and they are seeking a Network Administrator II to manage and maintain their network infrastructure. Responsibilities
Configure, monitor, and maintain network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, and SD-WAN appliances in both on-premises and Azure environments
Implement and maintain Network Security Groups (NSGs), firewall policies, and network segmentation to enforce security standards
Manage Microsoft Teams voice services, including Session Border Controllers (SBCs), Direct Routing, and call quality monitoring
Deploy, configure, and maintain physical security infrastructure, including network video recorders (NVRs), cameras, door access control equipment, and related networking components
Perform regular network health checks, traffic analysis, and performance tuning to ensure optimal performance and stability
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, including packet loss, latency, and bandwidth bottlenecks
Monitor network traffic and security logs for anomalies and potential security incidents, and coordinate with Security and Systems teams to address vulnerabilities
Manage IP address assignments, DHCP, DNS, VLAN configurations, and network topology documentation
Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers for network upgrades, circuit changes, hardware replacements, and support escalations
Support network failover testing, disaster recovery planning, and documentation of network configurations
Coordinate IT infrastructure and AV deployments for new office openings or expansions, including planning, vendor management, and onsite support
Document network changes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps in OneNote, SharePoint, and Jira
Stay current with industry best practices for network security, performance optimization, and emerging technologies
Attend and actively participate in required training and/or meetings, including but not limited to New Teammate Orientation, WWP Cares, ASIST Suicide Prevention training, Leadership training, culture/team based training, or departmental huddles

Qualification
Required
Three years of experience in network administration, including configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
Two years of experience with Cisco Meraki appliances and cloud-managed networking solutions
Two years of experience managing network security, including firewall configuration, access control lists, and VPN setup
Two years of experience managing Microsoft Teams voice services, including SBCs and Direct Routing
Two years of experience administering physical security infrastructure, including NVRs, cameras, and door access control equipment
Two years of experience with network troubleshooting and performance optimization in both on-premises and cloud environments
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field. Equivalent combination of applicable education, training, certification, and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Certification
Preferred
Familiarity with next-generation firewall platforms and advanced security features, such as intrusion prevention systems, deep packet inspection, and zero-trust segmentation
Experience with Network Security Groups in Azure or similar cloud security models
Familiarity with network design, topology, and failover strategies for hybrid cloud environments
Experience coordinating IT infrastructure and A/V deployments for new office openings or expansions
