Responsibilities
Lead/Facilitate Summer Intern Mystery Shopper Program (Focus City-wide Customer Service)
Research Best Practices related to supporting an engaged, healthy, and effective workforce (Focus Attracting and Retaining Talent)
Assist City Management team with Significant Cross-Functional Projects (Focus Develop Project Management Skills)
Attend Public Meetings to Observe/Support City Management team (Focus Exposure to Public Policy Formation)
Provide Research Support for Other Emerging Topics (Focus Develop Analytical and Reporting Skills)
Qualification
Required
Currently a college level student, MPA preferred
Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and attend mandatory on-boarding program
May require attendance at after-hours business meetings or City events
All interns must pass a required background screening: Criminal background investigation
Preferred
Majoring in Management, Public Administration preferred but not required
