Solutions Director

Responsibilities
Support Connected Plants Business Development for Industries such as -CPG, HiTech, Auto, IMC, Chemical, Aero, Pharma & Medical Devices, Energy and Recourses, Steel etc. ( expertise and experience in selling in at least two industries is mandatory)
Analyze the customer requirement (Proactive pitch, RFI, RFP) to arrive at the best fit / innovative solution to meet customer needs
Provide oversight to large / strategic transformative engagements with our clients, participate in steering committees, address issues and challenges in delivery, execution, support
Engage with different sales and pre-sales teams of TCS to architect and articulate comprehensive solutions for addressing the client needs
Co-ordinate with external partners (where necessary) to define product leverage for client needs / fit
Support development of sales & pre-sales pitch & value proposition and win high quality proposals with top notch brand messaging in I 4.0 / Connected Plants
Position the Unit and its Services in the Market in engagements with Analysts, Business Partners, Product Vendors, Events, Seminars etc
Put in place the delivery engagement for executing the client needs
Actively drive awareness of Connected Plant solutions with targeted clients - tradeshows, research-led thought leadership, client roadshows, and workshops, etc
Qualification
Required
Over 13 years of industry experience in Sales, customer reach out, shaping customer propositions, building strong client relationships, and drive solution-based sales
Expertise and experience in selling in at least two industries
IoT / Industry 4.0 / Plant Solutions
Worked across industries & partner products
Consultative sales experience with advisory services and skills for Point of View articulation at CX level
Experience in leading large bids especially in plant / manufacturing services in sales / pre-sales responsibilities
Consulting engagements experience including blue printing etc
Understanding of key digital technologies, like IoT, AI/ML, AR-VR etc. and the products that leverage these technologies
A good understanding of technology trends, market forces, and industry imperatives
Good understanding and experience of working with different digital technologies for understanding solutions, especially edge to cloud competencies
Industry Experience across a span of industries of Manufacturing, Chemical and Process, IMC, Auto, Aero, Pharma, Hi-Tech, CPG, Steel, Medical Devices, Energy etc
Preferred
Industry Certifications in Digital technologies (Azure, AWS, AI/ML etc.) will be advantageous
