Training & Compliance Coordinator
UCLA Residential Life is dedicated to creating inclusive living-learning communities for students. The Training & Compliance Coordinator is responsible for planning and implementing training and development initiatives for both student and professional staff, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance the workforce's skills and engagement.

Responsibilities
Plan, implement, and collaborate on training, assessment, evaluation and development initiatives for Residential Life student and professional staff
Conduct year-round training, assessment, evaluation and development programs that engage, prepare, educate, and inspire a diverse workforce of roughly 100 professional employees and 600 student team members
Qualification
Required
Knowledge of learning and development field and instructional methods
Ability to present written and verbal information to a variety of stakeholders including students and staff
Interpersonal skills to work and collaborate with a diverse body of students, staff, faculty, administrators, and community members in a multifaceted professional environment
Demonstrated understanding of current best practices for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) with proven ability to facilitate discussions on EDI topics across diverse groups. Comfort in addressing sensitive subjects and adapting training approaches to varied audiences
Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and regulations, and analyze information to determine compliance, select a course of action, and escalate when appropriate
Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments in a manner that reflects their importance
Skill in identifying, analyzing and resolving problems that require both independent thought and action and resourcefulness in consulting others as appropriate
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a multifaceted environment with rapidly changing or augmented assignments and concurrent multiple projects
Proficiency in Microsoft and Google Suites; familiarity with presentation and collaboration software
Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training
Preferred
2+ Years Experience working and/or living in a college or university residence hall
Familiarity with software used for creating and distributing asynchronous training materials (such as Canva, Adobe Suite, Articulate, Canvas/BruinLearn)
Knowledge of evaluation and assessment: Demonstrated experience in both quantitative and qualitative research methods and data analyses
Familiarity with data visualization software such as tableau or pthyon coding
