Responsibilities
Design and develop RESTful APIs using Apigee
Build and maintain API proxies, policies, and shared flows
Implement API security using OAuth, JWT, API keys, and SSL/TLS
Integrate APIs with backend systems and third-party services
Monitor API performance and troubleshoot production issues
Support CI/CD deployments and environment promotions
Create and maintain API documentation
Work closely with leads and architects on solution delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
12+ years overall experience with strong Apigee development background
Hands-on experience with Apigee policies and proxy development
Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or Python
Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and API security standards
Exposure to cloud platforms and DevOps tools
Preferred
Apigee certification is a plus
