Responsibilities
Notify telephone company of switchboard operational difficulties reported by operators
Maintain record of incoming and outgoing long distance and tie line calls, noting duration and time of calls
Compile a phone directory, arrange for distribution to designated personnel and keep record of directories distributed
Assign switchboard positions
Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow
Issue written and oral instructions
Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and compliance to policies and procedures
Study and standardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates
Maintain harmony among workers and resolves grievances
Prepare composite reports from individual reports of subordinates
Adjust errors and manage complaints
Train new team members and keep attendance records
Ensure faxes and mail is distributed and handled correctly
Conduct a daily audit and trace any questionable phone problems
Qualification
Required
1 year previous supervisory experience in call-center environment required
Must be able to work second shift, weekends and holidays
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid FL State Driver's License to drive company golf carts
Excellent customer service skills to ensure every guest is welcomed and assisted
Strong communications skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive, courteous, and service-oriented manner
