They are seeking a Pump Senior Engineer – Design & Development to take a hands-on role in new pump development, engineering execution, and continuous improvement of high-pressure pump systems.

Responsibilities
Design and develop high-pressure plunger and frac pump systems, including fluid-end and power-end components
Perform engineering analysis and performance validation to support new pump development and product upgrades
Lead or support failure analysis, reliability improvements, and root cause investigations
Partner with manufacturing and supply chain teams to improve design for manufacturability (DFM), quality, and cost
Support FAT, SIT, and performance testing to ensure pumps meet design and quality standards
Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
Provide technical support to field operations and customers when performance or reliability issues arise
Ensure compliance with API, ISO, and internal engineering standards
Collaborate with global engineering and R&D teams to support product alignment and execution
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
8–15+ years of experience with pump engineering, pressure equipment, or oilfield mechanical systems
Direct experience with high-pressure pump systems (plunger, frac, or similar)
Background in new product development, sustaining engineering, or major design upgrades
Experience with failure analysis, reliability improvement, and validation testing
Proficiency with CAD and engineering analysis tools
Working knowledge of API standards and oil & gas equipment requirements

a company with pump or oilfield OEM: 2 years
Ability to Commute: Houston, TX 77049
Preferred
Experience with OEMs or manufacturers of plunger / frac pumps or pressure pumping equipment
Exposure to pump testing, manufacturing engineering, or field performance support
Experience collaborating with global engineering or manufacturing teams
