This role encompasses the full project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and operational excellence while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver large-scale capital projects exceeding $30MM
Own full project lifecycle management including conceptual design, budgeting, detailed planning, execution, commissioning, and closeout
Develop detailed cost estimates and comprehensive project plans for all project phases
Manage scope, timelines, budget, resources, and risk mitigation strategies
Drive feasibility studies, vendor selection processes, and stakeholder evaluation
Define Statements of Work (SOW) and technical specifications for goods and services
Monitor and control project workstreams, resolving conflicts, dependencies, and critical path risks
Provide executive-level reporting on milestones, deliverables, and risks
Ensure full compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
Lead and participate in: HAZOP studies, Management of Change (MOC), Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR), Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) development and implementation
Understand and manage interdependencies between technology, operations, and business strategy
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering required
15–20 years of hands-on capital project management experience within chemical manufacturing facilities
Proven experience managing multi-site projects and concurrent large-scale initiatives
Demonstrated expertise in project and program management methodologies
Strong knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM)
Advanced risk assessment and hazard analysis capabilities
Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
Ability to quickly learn new chemistries and manufacturing processes
Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage multiple high-value projects simultaneously
Strategic thinking with operational execution strength
Preferred
