Responsibilities

Plan, develop and execute test procedures for flight hardware
Execute daily test operations, operate test consoles, direct technician work and coordinate with internal customers
Apply direct experience to vehicle test planning and execution of Vehicle Functional and Performance Testing
Work with the design and systems engineers to plan tests of the integrated vehicle and subsystems, ensuring the tests are designed to verify the pertinent requirements
Troubleshoot issues and anomalies that arise during testing
Reduce, analyze, and archive test data to support verification tasks
Support anomaly resolution, root-cause investigations, and corrective action implementation
Assist in the development and refinement of test procedures, test setups, and ground support equipment
Find opportunities for safety improvements and cost savings
Proactively prepare status updates and communicates both within the organization and with direct customers
Work independently to determine and develop approaches to solutions
Support test readiness reviews, shift handovers, and real-time test operations
Manage procedural redlines and updates during test campaigns
Enforce safety policies during test planning and operations

Required

BS in aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or related technical discipline
2+ years of experience supporting electrical test, integration, or verification of spacecraft, launch vehicles, satellites, or complex aerospace systems
Hands-on experience with spacecraft electrical systems, including avionics, power distribution, cables, sensors, or communications hardware
Experience executing formal test procedures and documenting test results
Excellent verbal, written, and graphical communication skills
Experience reading and writing code in C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or other languages)
Experience working collaboratively in a fast paced, dynamic work
Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends and travel to support business needs

Preferred

Experience with vehicle-level spacecraft testing, including integrated system tests and end-to-end functional testing
Familiarity with spacecraft power systems, command and telemetry systems, and fault management
Experience supporting environmental testing (thermal vacuum, vibration, EMI/EMC)
Knowledge of configuration management, test readiness reviews, and flight hardware handling requirements
Experience with scripting, automation, or data analysis tools
Prior experience in a cleanroom or launch-site environment
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight while escalating issues appropriately
Experience with test facility instrumentation and Data Acquisition and Control Systems
Understands/experience with hazardous operations
