Responsibilities
Develop and maintain functional and technical specifications for CWL systems
Ensure requirements are complete, accurate, and delivered to support customer reviews and system development
Address system-level topics such as payload integration, weapon launch interlocks, message exchanges, and cybersecurity compliance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design, integration, and test activities
Prepare documentation and participate in technical reviews to ensure compliance with program standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or related STEM field and 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree plus 3 years
Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, requirements management, and modeling tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with computer system architectures, cybersecurity, Linux, and embedded operating systems
Department of Defense Secret clearance required at time of hire
Applicants will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred
Agile experience preferred
B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
Experience in defense-related engineering roles
Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, Linux administration, and embedded systems
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to complex technical environments
