Responsibilities
Oversee all daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger management, and month-end close using QuickBooks
Manage and reconcile IOLTA/trust accounts in full compliance with legal and state bar requirements
Prepare financial statements, reporting packages, and budgets for firm leadership
Maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance with GAAP and legal industry standards
Partner with attorneys and staff to resolve billing, trust, and accounting issues while supporting overall firm financial operations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
5+ years of corporate accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a law firm or legal services environment
Hands-on experience with IOLTA/trust accounting and a thorough understanding of state trust regulations
Proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
Strong knowledge of GAAP and legal industry accounting standards
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
CPA preferred but not required
