Full Stack Engineer – Customer Centric Engineering

Responsibilities
Customer-First Engineering: Take ownership of complex, customer-impacting issues from discovery through resolution. You will champion long-term fixes over short-term workarounds to eliminate recurring pain points
Cross-Layer Development: Design and deliver solutions across multiple layers of the product, including backend services, Salesforce platform integrations, and internal tooling
Root Cause Analysis: Drive deep technical investigations and advanced debugging with minimal guidance. You will be responsible for identifying the source of ambiguous problems to improve system reliability and maintainability
AI Innovation: Actively explore and implement AI-driven integrations, intelligent automations, and data-driven workflows that align with Copado’s roadmap and improve customer outcomes
System Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance system performance and code quality, ensuring that the product interacts seamlessly in real customer environments
Collaborative Execution: Partner effectively with Product, Support, and Core Engineering teams. You will balance urgency with quality, communicating risks, trade-offs, and progress to stakeholders
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Python and/or Node.js, with the ability to design, implement, and debug scalable services independently
Working knowledge of frontend frameworks such as Angular to build, integrate, and troubleshoot user-facing components within full-stack workflows
Proficiency in JavaScript and/or Java, backed by solid software engineering fundamentals
Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to drive investigations forward without waiting for direction
Strong understanding of Git workflows, branching strategies, and collaborative development practices
A proactive 'independent operator' mindset. You are comfortable making informed decisions, adapting to shifting priorities, and owning outcomes end-to-end
A demonstrated interest in AI integrations and intelligent automation, with the ability to self-learn and apply new technologies quickly
Preferred
Familiarity with Salesforce DX (SFDX), Apex, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Previous exposure to Copado and CI/CD pipeline tools
Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and secure coding practices
