IT Support Specialist I
The Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce is seeking an IT Support Specialist I to provide expert tech solutions and support. This role involves frontline support to students, faculty, and staff, assisting with efficient and reliable solutions to help the college community succeed.

Responsibilities
Provide frontline support to students, faculty, and staff
Assist with efficient and reliable solutions to help the LLCC college community to succeed
Qualification
Required
Associates degree in Information Technology or related field; or equivalent work experience
One or more years of relevant work experience in enterprise IT
Experience supporting end users remotely as well as in-person
Knowledge of current and emerging technology
Customer-focused attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Knowledge of networking fundamentals
Possess (or obtain within 6 months of employment) and maintain a valid and current CompTIA A+ Certification
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Experience in a helpdesk or technical support role within an educational or similar environment is highly desirable
Familiarity with ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) practices and principles
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and experience in implementing security measures
Server administration experience
Previous experience administering a Microsoft 365 environment
Previous experience supporting Apple products in an enterprise or educational environment
Experience installing and supporting audio/visual systems
Experience supporting videoconferencing equipment in an enterprise environment
Experience supporting Layer 1 network issues
Experience in IT asset management and deployment
