Compliance Coordinator

Responsibilities
Work directly with the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) in developing the Quarterly Disclosure reports and Audit committee reports for Compliance
Work directly with the SVP, Deputy Chief Compliance Officer & Chief Compliance Counsel to develop materials regarding Third Party Risk Management (TPRM)
Champion enterprise-wide compliance initiatives to enhance stakeholder engagement and foster a culture of ethics
Manage the compliance disclosure reporting process, ensuring accuracy and clarity in incident classification
Consolidate system-wide content to produce comprehensive summary reports for executive leadership (i.e., Ethics and Compliance Committee (ECC), Audit Committee, etc.)
Prioritize change management in the rollout of compliance systems, ensuring seamless adoption across the organization
Oversee project workplans and communication schedules for compliance initiatives, maintaining momentum and transparency
Facilitate stakeholder collaboration, securing consensus and commitment to achieve key milestones
Deliver prompt, effective responses to stakeholder inquiries and needs
Craft impactful communications tailored to diverse audiences, translating complex compliance issues into clear, actionable messages
Distill and emphasize the most critical information, aligning content with broader departmental and corporate objectives
Assess the effectiveness of ethics and compliance programs, sharing performance reports to demonstrate progress
Design and implement surveys and feedback mechanisms to gather stakeholder input and drive continuous improvement
Facilitate risk assessments in support of the Enterprise Risk Management process and system compliance risks
Conduct research and market analysis to evaluate the impact of compliance initiatives
Develop reporting templates that highlight trends and insights, supporting data-driven decision-making
Integrate findings from assessments and feedback into ongoing enhancements of compliance programs
Exercise sound judgment in sharing confidential information, preparing summary reports for senior leadership, boards, and executives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (Required) – preferred discipline in Finance, Engineering, or Business Management or similar degree
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in governance, risk, compliance, and / or controls (required)
Minimum of two (2) years of Project management experience (required)
Preferred
Advanced degree (Preferred)
Experience with governance, risk, and controls systems
Strong oral and written communication, including policy/technical writing
Experience with change management across diverse stakeholders
Strategy development and implementation across cross-functional groups
Experience in matrix organizations, facilitating communications, and influencing decisions
Process improvement experience
Ability to document consistent processes and rationalize differences
Interpret control frameworks and regulations, prioritize risks, and assist in designing management programs
Design and deliver process-related training
Analyze large and complex data sets to resolve issues and propose long-term solutions
Respond promptly to stakeholder feedback and improve stakeholder experience
Strong interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation, and presentation skills
Effective project management: planning, organizing, and directing
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Artificial Intelligence tools
Skilled in SharePoint, Teams, MS Project, and other project management tools
Ability to maintain productivity in hybrid work environments
Collaborative approach to finding win-win solutions with stakeholders
