They are seeking a Part-Time Undergraduate Student PASS Program Assistant Instructor to provide supplemental instruction and learning tools to students enrolled in entry-level math and science classes.

Responsibilities
Attends the PASS (Peer Assisted Study Session) Program training sessions and staff meetings
Observes daily Math J010, Math M106, Chemistry C103, or Business K160 class as assigned
Creates lesson plans and provide supplemental materials to assist Groups participants need for success
Schedules and leads Peer Assisted Study Sessions, track attendance and participation
Participates in analysis and data collection regarding the success of the program
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University
1 year of college with a grade of A or B in one of the following courses: Math J111, J112, M106, Chemistry C103, Business K160, and/or K201
Ability to clearly and effectively explain concepts to college students
Ability to create lesson plans, provide supplemental materials, and lead study sessions effectively
Ability to utilize study strategies to teach students effectively and work with students in small group settings
Maintain a professional
Commit to working scheduled hours knowing that regular attendance is a condition of employment
Ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment
