Facilities Engineer I/Painter - Full Time (Tropicana Laughlin)

Caesars Entertainment is a leading hospitality company that values growth and community. They are seeking a skilled Engineer/Painter to maintain the functionality and appearance of their property through mechanical maintenance and professional painting tasks.

Food and Beverage

Responsibilities

Complete work orders related to the maintenance and operation of major physical and mechanical equipment throughout the property
Perform skilled painting tasks, including surface prep, application of paint and finishes, and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
Conduct drywall patching, texturing, caulking, and minor carpentry repairs to prepare or restore surfaces
Maintain the appearance of walls, ceilings, doors, trim, railings, and other surfaces through routine painting and preventative maintenance
Select proper materials, tools, and equipment for painting tasks and ensure safe storage and handling of paints and chemicals
Work with property systems including boilers, chillers, pumps, air handlers, plumbing distribution, fire protection, electrical distribution, motors, controls, kitchen equipment, compressors, refrigeration, and air conditioning
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and painting work, including logs, reports, and work orders
Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA guidelines, including proper use of ladders, lifts, PPE, and chemical handling
Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer or Director of Facility Operations
Demonstrate Caesars Entertainment’s Family Style Service with every interaction

Required

Must be 21+ to work in this position
A reliable, skilled team member with strong mechanical and painting abilities
High School diploma or equivalent required
Ability to communicate effectively in English and complete basic written documentation
Strong math skills, including working with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Ability to lift, move, and work safely with tools, equipment, and materials
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable licenses as required
OSHA Certification required

Preferred

One to three years of engineering, maintenance, or painting experience preferred
