Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient, and cost-effective data products on AWS
Develop ETL and ELT data pipelines using Python, SQL, and AWS services
Engineer and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL packages, procedures, and statements
Implement batch jobs and workflows using AWS services and schedulers such as Control-M, Airflow, or cron
Automate deployments with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS CloudFormation templates
Validate, monitor, and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments
Collaborate with global Agile teams to deliver integrated data solutions across a large organization
Participate in monthly production support on-call rotation, including one onshore week and potential weekend coverage
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with Oracle, SQL, and PL/SQL
Unix/Linux scripting experience
Python for developing and supporting ETL data flows
CI/CD experience, including Jenkins, CloudFormation templates, and deployment pipelines
Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, SNS, and SQS
Available for monthly on-call rotation for production support (one week, 8 AM–8 PM EST, one weekend as needed)
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology-related field such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Preferred
Kafka knowledge
Experience working in large, federated data environments
7–10+ years of relevant experience (senior-level due to operational complexity)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
AWS Certification (Associate, Professional, or Specialty) preferred
