Responsibilities
Ensure safety practices are implemented, including the use of protective equipment as required
Provide advanced troubleshooting and repair, development of injection mold manufacturing systems, including but not limited to:
Trouble shooting and repairing complex injection molds
Develop injection molding processing parameters to ensure consistent, good product
Work with other team members to troubleshoot issues and determine a course of action to meet quality and production volume goals
Work with the Engineering team on mold design, spare parts list and troubleshooting
Communicate mold status and timing expectations
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in injection mold repair and processing
Microwelding
Machining skills, manual mill, lathe, grinding, CNC skills a plus, required to repair/make parts for injection molds
Ability to understand priorities and stay on task
Able to use measuring tools
Have mechanical skills and ability
Able to read blueprints and use CAD data to make/repair parts
Able to work in teams on continuous improvement projects
Basic Computer skills
Good Communication skills
