Responsibilities
Logistics & Hospitality Management: Coordinate essential "behind-the-scenes" details, such as managing hotel room blocks for event organizers and leveraging city-wide connections to foster meaningful engagement with local vendors and stakeholders
City & Community Liaison: Serve as the administrative bridge between our organization, city departments, and local community stakeholders to ensure seamless event integration
Full-Cycle Oversight: Own the administrative lifecycle of a project, from the preliminary planning phases and permit filings to the comprehensive wrap-up and data reporting
Administrative Precision: Utilize Google Suite to manage complex tracking sheets, registration data, and communication logs with 100% accuracy
Mission-Driven Execution: Align every logistical task to increase tourism and local hotel occupancy
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the coordination or planning of large-scale events, such as festivals, sports competitions, or city-wide activations
A natural 'logistics mind' that catches small errors before they become big problems and thrives on keeping projects organized
Comfortable and professional when communicating with city officials, local business owners, and hotel partners
Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Drive are required to maintain our project management standards
Preferred
A strong understanding of our destination's geography, venues, and community landscape
