Field Investigation Manager (Supervisor II)
The Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety is seeking a Field Investigation Manager (Supervisor II) to lead their investigations team in California. This role involves managing field investigations, supervising sensitive cases, and ensuring compliance with the Dig Safe Act of 2016.
Responsibilities
Managing Field Investigations
Lead and supervise high-profile and sensitive investigations
Plan and execute audits and data analysis, including 'Call Before You Dig'
Serve as an Ambassador of the Board
Qualification
Required
Pattern I: Four years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, or customer service duties. Academic education from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis
An additional three years of professional analytical and/or technical experience, two years of which must be equivalent to an Analyst II or higher
Preferred
Proven ability to manage complex investigations, including root cause analysis and evidence gathering
Proficient in data analysis, with experience evaluating operational processes and implementing improvements
Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams to achieve organizational goals
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders including government agencies, contractors, and community groups
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage sensitive and high-profile cases with discretion and tact
Experience in planning, directing, and evaluating multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and compliance with relevant regulations
Experience developing and implementing strategic plans, policies, and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with experience preparing detailed reports, presentations, and educational materials
Ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences
