Responsibilities
Develops, maintains and releases Wire Harness details, assemblies and installation designs for our diverse portfolio of advanced Commercial Aircraft
Using design tools prepares documentation and incorporates design changes
Creates, develops and maintains systems designs by preparing design layouts, modifying existing designs and assisting in identifying design discrepancies
Supports engineering system design and functionality validation activities
Develops and maintains product installation designs and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex
Coordinates activities and products with internal partners and external suppliers
Works under general direction of a lead engineer and an experienced mentor to enhance both your technical learning and career growth
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience with wire harness, electrical and/or mechanical design
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or higher
10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years of experience with Computer aided design (CAD) tools are a plus
Experience working in a cross functional team environment and have good verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of CATIA V5
