Start in 2026 SummerLegrand has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2026 to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Pass and Seymour Team in Middletown, PA. As an intern, you’ll participate in developing competencies in a variety of electrical engineering specializations, including building and troubleshooting electrical circuits and coordinating prototype testing.

Responsibilities
Build, analyze, and troubleshoot electrical circuits, sub-assemblies and products, using, various digital and analog test equipment
Coordinate prototype testing with test engineering, ensuring that both product and customer documentation is correct and up-to-date
Test prototypes and products in the engineering test lab for safety, performance, and conformance to requirements
Research and determine requirements for electrical components and systems
Qualification
Required
Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering, or an Associate Degree program in Electronics Technology or similar disciplines, from an accredited institution
3.0 GPA or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your profile)
Ability to work collaboratively on a team & have good communication skills both verbal & written
Provide own mode of transportation and housing
Authorization to work in the U.S
Able to bend, lift up to 30 lbs. Able to use standard electronic lab tools/equipment, soldering station, hand tools, etc
