Computer IT Support Analyst
New York State Senate is a government agency seeking applicants for the full-time position of Computer Helpdesk/Trainer. This role is responsible for providing end-user support, training individuals and small groups on technology topics, and assisting with various technology-related projects.

Responsibilities
End-user support, troubleshooting assistance, and problem resolution via telephone, remote desktop connection, and/or physical visits to offices
Online and/or in-person training of individuals and small groups on end-user technology topics
Other technology-related projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have at least two years of experience supporting end-user IT, or a two or four year degree in a relevant field of study
Knowledge troubleshooting and supporting personal computers, printers, and mobile devices
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, Macros, VBA Scripting and Power Automate
Microsoft Windows 11 and MAC operating systems
CRM Systems
Familiarity with data networks and telecommunications
Ability to effectively work in a team environment
Candidates must be extremely comfortable with technology and excel at bridging the gap between technology and the people using it
Highly motivated, detail-oriented, ready to learn new skills, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Project Management and/or business analysis experience
Experience providing technology training
