Responsibilities
Performs dimensional, physical, and functional inspections per engineered drawings
Verifies material certifications, heat treat records and plating/coating compliance
Uses observation, measurement and testing to identify faults in materials/manufacturing
Performs Machine Shop inspection of First Piece and work in process items
Use statistical and analytical methods to test product samples to evaluate
Maintains records and forms detailing quality levels, inspection data
Assists with calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
Maintains quality records as needed
Qualification
Required
Detail oriented person responsible for ensuring that mechanical components, assemblies, and finished products meet specified quality standards, engineering drawings, and regulatory requirements
Experience in Machine Shop and manufacturing environments
Ability to ensure compliance with ISO 9001/ AS9100, reducing defects
Performs dimensional, physical, and functional inspections per engineered drawings
Verifies material certifications, heat treat records and plating/coating compliance
Uses observation, measurement and testing to identify faults in materials/manufacturing
Performs Machine Shop inspection of First Piece and work in process items

High School Diploma
Knowledge of Quality Inspection a must
Preferred
