Responsibilities
Analyze RFPs and quote requests for new and existing business
Develop competitive insurance proposals and pricing strategies
Partner with underwriting on plan design, discounts, and approvals
Compare competitor plans, rates, and contract provisions
Prepare proposal summaries and final deliverables
Collaborate with sales reps, brokers, and underwriters
Act as a subject-matter resource for pricing and product offerings
Maintain strong communication with internal and external partners
Manage 100–125 proposals per month
Track opportunities and deadlines using internal systems
Prioritize work based on broker and sales timelines
Participate in role-specific training
Support junior analysts and lead knowledge-sharing sessions
Administrative and project-based tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of experience in insurance, employee benefits, or underwriting support
Strong experience with proposals, RFPs, or pricing analysis
Ability to manage high-volume workloads and deadlines
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience working with brokers and sales teams
