Responsibilities

Track patch timelines and ensure patches are completed within designated patch windows
Verify patch completion accuracy; collaborate with patch owners to define and execute remediation plans when issues are identified
Manually track assets, patch status, and timelines until automation solutions are implemented
Receive data from system owners, analyze it, and generate clear reporting for leadership and technical teams
Support ongoing efforts to automate currently manual tracking activities

Required

Strong Excel skills, including building and managing structured tracking sheets
Highly process driven and extremely detail oriented
Experience working with security patches or patch management workflows
Strong understanding of patch management concepts (note: this role does not perform patching)
Strong understanding of vulnerabilities and how they connect to patching and asset health

Preferred

Experience with NERC compliance or other regulatory/compliance frameworks
Operational Technology (OT) experience is a plus
