The role focuses on developing ingestion pipelines for Fault Management data and integrating it with existing Performance Management telemetry to support analytics and Root Cause Analysis for network operations teams.

Responsibilities
Design and implement ingestion pipelines for Fault Management (FM) alarm data from Core Network Functions
Normalize and correlate FM alarms with existing PM time-series telemetry
Integrate alarm and performance data from NOC / OSS systems into a unified operational model
Expose clean, reliable datasets for analytics and RCA engines
Collaborate with analytics and domain experts to ensure data usability and correctness
Ensure solutions meet operational reliability, security, and performance expectations
Document data models, ingestion flows, and operational assumptions
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Nokia Core Network platforms, especially: Packet Core (UPF, SMF)
Experience with Core Network Operations / National Core Implementations
Proficiency in network automation and scripting: Python (required)
Solid understanding of telecom FM and PM data (alarms, KPIs, thresholds)
Strong Linux/Unix skills and experience with APIs and event-driven systems
Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks (Prometheus, InfluxDB, Grafana or equivalent)
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work independently in fast-paced pilot environments
Clear written and verbal communication with engineering and operations teams
Preferred
Bash / Ansible (preferred)
Experience working in cloud-native or virtualized environments (Kubernetes / OpenShift preferred)
Prior experience supporting large-scale Core Network rollouts or national deployments
Experience working in NOC or ATAC-type environments
5+ years in telecom operations, automation, or network engineering roles
