Responsibilities
**Claims Processing Support**: Request, verify, and collect claim documentation via phone or written communication
**Workflow Adherence**: Follow established procedures and maintain high-quality standards
**Data Entry**: Input claim data across various lines of business (e.g., annuity, disability, life insurance)
**Customer Service**: Provide consistent, empathetic service across all customer groups
**Documentation**: Maintain clear and compliant records of all communications and claim activities
**Correspondence**: Communicate with stakeholders (agents, beneficiaries, physicians, etc.) while maintaining confidentiality
**Team Collaboration**: Support team goals and participate in projects
**Adaptability**: Embrace change, suggest improvements, and support innovation
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required, or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
Claims Processing Support: Request, verify, and collect claim documentation via phone or written communication
Workflow Adherence: Follow established procedures and maintain high-quality standards
Data Entry: Input claim data across various lines of business (e.g., annuity, disability, life insurance)
Customer Service: Provide consistent, empathetic service across all customer groups
Documentation: Maintain clear and compliant records of all communications and claim activities
Correspondence: Communicate with stakeholders (agents, beneficiaries, physicians, etc.) while maintaining confidentiality
Team Collaboration: Support team goals and participate in projects
Adaptability: Embrace change, suggest improvements, and support innovation
Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
Accurate data entry and document management skills
Empathy and responsiveness in customer interactions
Ability to learn and adapt to new software tools
Preferred
Bachelors Degree and/or minimum of 1 year working in a fast-paced office environment preferred
Knowledge of insurance administration terms and process is a plus
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
Familiarity with claim processing systems and administrative platforms preferred
