Responsibilities
The Trailer Uplifting Technician is responsible for the refurbishment and remanufacturing of company fleet assets, diagnosing complex mechanical problems, and documenting work orders through the online AssetWorks system
As a Trailer Uplifting Technician, you will inspect, repair, and diagnose refrigeration and heating units, as well as hydraulic liftgate components
You will assess the structural integrity and body of the asset, repair and replace parts as needed, and perform the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) annual inspection certification
You will work in a safe manner and maintain a clean and organized work area
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 to 4 years of related experience
Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100 pounds
Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
