Responsibilities

Lead a team of quality assurance specialists
Monitor and Report Contractor’s work sequencing, equipment use, labor force activities, and daily production goals to maintain schedule and quality
Oversee and confirm strict adherence to the Contractor’s work plans, construction specifications, delivery schedules, safety and security protocols
Document material utilization against Contractor’s monthly pay requests
Support Project Manager’s review and timely response to Contractor RFI’s
Support Client / Owner’s issuance of Non-Compliance Reports and support follow-up with Corrective Action Plans
Support Project Manager’s engagement with regulatory personnel, stakeholders, and utility owners
Develop and submit timely daily reports
Coordinate fleet vehicles with Fleet Manager for routine maintenance and accident reporting
Serve as the on-site AECOM safety lead, enforcing AECOM safety policies and project-specific Health and Safety Plans for AECOM personnel and AECOM subcontractor personnel
Conduct daily tailgate meetings, site-specific training, and hazard assessments (including heavy equipment, confined space, fall hazards, and radiological controls)
Correct unsafe behaviors and conditions immediately and escalate issues to project management when needed
Maintain compliance with applicable federal (OSHA) and/or state regulatory requirements, as appropriate for the specific job
Support development and execution of Field Sampling Plans, QAPPs, SSHPs, and project work plans
Maintain daily logs, production reports, safety records, equipment logs, and subcontractor documentation
Assist in preparing progress reports, regulatory documentation, and closure reports
Coordinate with regulatory inspectors and client representatives during field activities
Serve as the on-site point of contact between Contractors, project managers, safety staff, and client representatives
Participate in project scheduling, constructability reviews, and planning of field mobilizations/demobilizations
Communicate daily progress, changes, and issues to project management and regulatory partners

Required

Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Experience on linear infrastructure projects such as highway, railway, pipeline, and transmission corridor type projects
Experience with government/federal projects
Due to the nature of the role US citizenship is required

Preferred

15+ years of experience with federal projects
Experience working with complex multi-stakeholder field sites
Strong background supervising field crews, subcontractors, and heavy equipment operations
OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification
Strong understanding of field safety, heavy construction techniques, and environmental/radiological controls
Ability to create clear daily logs, field reports, and documentation
Ability to communicate clearly and proactively
