IT Infrastructure Engineer
Encore Electric, Inc. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, maintain, support, and monitor the IT infrastructure for their offices and job sites. Responsibilities
Maintain open communication lines with all working relationships

Architect, supervise, and participate in the implementation of technologies and platforms supporting the data, security, and voice infrastructure
Ensure availability of enterprise infrastructure that supports internal employee business functions and external customer communications
Troubleshoot and remediate 3rd and 4th level support issues impacting the operation of the corporate data and voice infrastructure
Mentoring responsibilities
Serve as one of the primary points of contact for service providers and coordinate circuit design, provisioning, installation, and troubleshooting
Document the design, operation, and troubleshooting of technology platforms and procedures
Plan, design, implement, and continuously improve disaster recovery procedures
Maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends
Interact and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, distributors, and contract consultants
Maintain the necessary project plans and documentation for system builds and modifications
Monitor systems and identify performance issues proactively
Propose new IT services and solutions to the end users and the senior management team

Qualification
Required
A degree in IT, MIS, or a related field, or 4+ years of IT Systems Administration experience

Expertise in writing Windows Power Shell scripts for automation or maintenance
Expertise in Active Directory Domain Services including Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Sites & Services and supporting infrastructure
Experience managing Microsoft Office 365 back-end infrastructure including Exchange Admin Center, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive for Business
Business writing
Effective written and oral communication sufficient to be able to elicit and communicate information and achieve understanding
Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with customers, vendors, consultants, management, and employees
