Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily sterile processing department operations
Lead staff responsible for decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments
Ensure compliance with TJC, OSHA, CDC, AAMI, and AORN standards
Monitor quality control, workflow efficiency, and infection prevention practices
Train, mentor, and evaluate sterile processing team members
Collaborate with surgical services and clinical departments to support case readiness
Maintain documentation and department performance metrics
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience
At least 1 year of leadership or management experience
Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CSPT) required
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
Vocational or technical school graduate
