Mid, Senior LevelPhysics World is seeking an Open-Rank Professor for their College of Innovation and Technology. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, mentor students, and establish a research program while contributing to the growth of the department and its ties with regional industries.

Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses
Mentor undergraduate and graduate students
Establish a robust, externally funded research program
Publish in peer reviewed journals and conference proceedings
Collaborate to create new programs, certificates, and credentials to prepare graduates for the workforce of the future
Qualification
Required
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Physics, Engineering Physics, Applied Physics, or a closely-related field by the appointment date
Candidates must show exceptional promise in both research and teaching and are expected to have an appreciation of and commitment to working with faculty and student body
Applicants for tenured Associate and Full Professor must have academic experience demonstrating excellent teaching in experiential settings and a strong scholarship record, with potential for successful grant writing
Record of teaching excellence in face-to-face, online, and experiential settings commensurate with desired rank
Record of research and scholarly publications commensurate with desired rank
Record of external funding commensurate with desired rank
Record of leadership and mentorship commensurate with desired rank
Applicants for tenured Associate and Full Professor must have academic experience demonstrating excellent teaching in experiential settings and a strong scholarship record, with a history of successful grant writing
