Responsibilities

Implement and maintain an efficient, responsive intake process in accordance with ADF Legal Intake protocols to manage a high volume of legal assistance requests from CMA members and prospective members

Create, maintain, and manage accurate records and data to track all incoming and outgoing CMA intake requests, ensuring compliance with ADF protocols related to confidentiality, conflicts of interest, and matter lifecycle management

Receive, initiate, and promptly respond to inbound and outbound legal intake calls and emails from CMA members and prospective members, documenting all communications

Summarize relevant legal facts for attorney review, review intake matters with attorneys, and serve as the liaison between CMA intake contacts and attorneys

Decline legal advice or assistance and refer matters to Allied Attorneys as directed by attorneys

Participate in intake team and CMA team trainings and meetings as requested

Required

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities

Prior administrative and customer service experience

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with electronic databases

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Familiarity with legal terms and basic legal research
