Financial Analyst

ORBIS Corporation, part of Menasha Corporation, is a leader in providing reusable packaging products and services. The Financial Analyst will provide financial and analytical support to the Strategic Sourcing Group and work closely with Purchasing and Logistics departments to become a trusted business partner for the team.

Responsibilities

Provide effective business and financial analysis to the Strategic Sourcing group and ORBIS leadership
Ensure accuracy of financial statements during month-end and year-end closing. Perform general ledger account reconciliations for assigned areas of responsibility
Month end closing journal entries
Review and analysis of Purchase Price Variance (PPV)
Prepare various financial reports to give the business insight into performance
Assist with resolving vendor invoice issues as they arise
Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and monthly/quarterly financial forecasts
Manage standard costing of raw materials
Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis
Continuously look for ways to simplify, standardize & automate recurring tasks and procedures
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance
Prior Accounting experience 0-3 years
Strong experience with Microsoft Excel
Strong knowledge of basic business and accounting principles

CPA
CMA
SAP experience
Tableau/Hyperion experience
